Introduction & Case Study Proposals

Thank you for your active participation during our first meeting. There is much to be done and little time to waste within a six-week summer session course. I am pleased with your enthusiasm and encouraged by your willingness to get started.

The primary items that need your attention this first week are:

  1. A personal introduction,
  2. Your team’s case study proposal, and
  3. Following up on case studies by reviewing, commenting and voting.

Important Due Dates

Jul 10 (Sun) – Case study proposals
Jul 13 (Wed) – Comments & +1s for proposals (by 3:00 PM)
Jul 13 (Wed) – Personal introduction

Personal Introduction

Create a selfie video to yourself to the class in a creative and interesting manner that provides a lasting impression about you. Due: July 13. For details, see:

Case Study Comments & Voting

Review each of the case studies posted by replying to the posted case study proposal. If the study warrants implementation by this class, add a +1 to the review. The studies with the highest +1 points will be selected for implementation during the next five weeks. Due: Wednesday, July 13, 3:00 PM HST.

In your comments, write about:

  • What you liked best about the proposal
  • Strengths and weaknesses you noticed
  • Specific items that need clarification or revision
  • Suggestions for further improvement
