Aloha & Welcome!

Blackboard Collaborate

We will meet weekly online in Blackboard Collaborate on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 PM. Your participation in these meetings is critical for the success of this course. Time will be set aside for group meetings to complete collaborative assignments.

Internet Accounts & Contact Info

For this class, you will need a Google account (you may use your Hawaii.edu account) and a Twitter account. We will use the Twitter hashtag, #676su, for sharing resources.

We will also use LINE (http://line.me), a smartphone, tablet & desktop app, for instant messaging, including announcements, reminders, and other class-related briefs. Download and install the application on your smartphone (and/or desktop, if preferable).

Have these accounts ready by Wednesday to share with others. You may use accounts that you have created previously. Use your Hawaii.edu account to post your contact information:

Topics Survey

Since we are attempting to cover a full three-credit course within six weeks, complete the following questionnaire to indicate your interests in the wide variety of possible topics for this class. Instead of working from a fixed set of topics, you will also have the opportunity through group work to select a topic that you would like to explore in more detail.
